Provide For My Children - 2 Corinthians 12

S - 2 Corinthians 12:14 Now I am coming to you for the third time, and I will not be a burden to you. I don’t want what you have—I want you. After all, children don’t provide for their parents. Rather, parents provide for their children.
O - Paul was telling the Corinthians that he was not a financial burden on them just as a parent should not be a financial burden on their children but instead the parents should provide for the children.
A - I choose to provide for my children instead of being a burden to them.  I want to give my children a leg up on their life by providing the needed things in order for them to go out on their own and live a life that is free from financial want.  By helping them do this, with my example of giving, they too will have the resources to go out and give to Christian causes that will expand God's kingdom.
P - God, I thank you for all that you have given to me and my family.  We are truly blessed and I am sorry for not always thanking you and for giving you the credit for this.  Help me to be a good example of a cheerful giver and a man who provides for his family that my children, especially my boys, can copy as they are running their houses.  I pray for blessings, protection, and healing over my entire household today.
