S - 2 Corinthians 6:12 Whatever you give is acceptable if you give it eagerly. And give according to what you have, not what you don’t have.
O - Paul is encouraging the people of Corinth to give. They had stood up and said that they would give now he is encouraging to follow through with this commitment. This verse is encouraging both big and small gifts. The key to these gifts is not the size but the attitude in which it is given. Also, he mentions that the gift should be in proportion to what you have.
A - Do I always give eagerly? Do I always give in proportion to what I have? The second question I can 100% answer "Yes". The first question begs a deep look into the heart and only I can answer this. I have made a commitment to tithe and go above the tithe and have been consistent with both of these for years, however, when finances are tighter I may think about this giving and start to wonder what I could do with this if I didn't give it away. I am going to eagerly give ALWAYS!
P - God, You are the provider of everything and I recognize this today and everyday. I ask for your forgiveness for the times that I have been greedy or selfish and not eagerly given back to you that small portion that you have asked for. I commit to you today that I will give eagerly to you in recognition of all the amazing things that you have done and will continue to do for my family and me. I pray for blessing, health and purity over me and my entire family today. Help me to be a light that shines so very brightly that others can only ask me why and who's I am.
