S - Genesis 3:6 The woman was convinced. She saw that the tree was beautiful and its fruit looked delicious, and she wanted the wisdom it would give her. So she took some of the fruit and ate it. Then she gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it, too.
O - When Eve was being tempted by the devil, Adam was there with her as it said "who was with her". Later Adam blames Eve for giving him the fruit, but since he was with her, he had full control to stop everything from happening. Adam, being the leader, should have made this decision instead of having Eve determine the decision.
A - Being the man and leader of the house, I too am the one that is responsible for leading the house. It is my duty to make sure that the path that we are taking is a good path and that it will not lead to difficulties. One of the most important decisions that I am responsible for is the spiritual decisions of my house. I need to stand up and make these decisions so that Christa is not forced into these. She desperately wants me to make these decisions and to lead her and the children as this is what God has set up and when I do this, there is total peace in the house.
P - God, I come to you this morning to ask for your forgiveness for the times that I have shrugged off the leadership duties that you have given me for my family. I ask that you would give me wisdom and discernment to make these decisions in a way that is both good and profitable for my family and me. Help me to have the courage to make these decisions and not to run away from them or pass them off to my wife. I want to show a great example to my children as to how a Godly family works and to instruct them through my words and actions. I pray for healing over my family today and for protection and blessings. I love you Lord!
