S - Joshua 1:9 This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
O - Moses had just died and God is talking with Joshua and commanding him to go into Cannan and possess the land. 3 times including this verse God tells Joshua to be strong and courageous. Then later on, the warriers for the 2 1/2 tribes that were settling on the east side of the Jordan also tell Joshua to be strong and courageous. God was promising to be with Joshua and would provide and protect him.
A - This same promise is applicable to me and my family. I have God's favor, blessing, protection and presence with me every single day. With Him on my side and with me, who can could against me and beat me? No one! Because of this, I too can be strong and courageous. I can fight the battles that God has placed in front of me to get to the promise land that he has given me.
P - God, you are amazing and worthy of all the praise that I can and will give you. You have protected me and bless me more than I could have imagined and I thank you for that. I ask that you continue to protect me and to give out even more favor and blessings as we move forward and step out to do what you have called us to do with this child you have for us and with our business. Use our actions and bless them to touch other peoples lives, to bless us, and to increase your kingdom. Let our children see these action and hear our words to know the path that they too should take as they mature. Bless my family and me today.
