God Works Miracles - 2 Kings 5

S - 2 Kings 5:11 But Naaman went away angry and said, “I thought that he would surely come out to me and stand and call on the name of the Lord his God, wave his hand over the spot and cure me of my leprosy.
O - Naaman wasdisappointed in what Elisha said and did when he came to him to be healed. He thought that he would be told to do some elaborate thing or that Elisha would do something more noteworthy than telling him to wash in the Jordan River seven times.
A - I too come to God and ask for a miracle. Eventhough sometimes these requests are not answered with the boon of God's voice or a very clear, definite sign, God is still talking and working miracles in my life. I need to stand back and just realize that ALL things work together for the good of those that love Him. That means that God is in control and He will bring about the events that I need to answer my prayers. These answers may not always be a "Yes" but instead a "Wait" or a "No" but He always answers prayers and answers them with knowing what is best for me.
P - Heavenly Father, I praise you this morning for everything that you have done and for all that you are. I thank you for a great weekend that helped me to recharge and rethink exactly what you have called me to do with my life. I ask for your help and for your guidence in fulfilling the call that you have placed on my life. I pray that you will guide and protect me and my family and help me to be that man, husband, and father that my family and those around me need so desperately.
